Impact for 2026

Our scholarships are one way we can recognize our youth's perseverance and remind them that they don't have to navigate everything alone.
In 2026, Break the Silence proudly awarded two $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from Mission Oak High School.
These scholarships represent more than financial assistance. They are a reminder that their lives, their efforts, and their futures matter.
We can't change what these students have experienced, but we can help them move forward with hope, support, and the knowledge that someone sees them.
Family Movie Day August 8th, 2026
What a wonderful day! 🌻
Families and friends came together to enjoy a movie, spend time with one another, and strengthen the sense of community that is at the heart of our mission.
We are so grateful to everyone who joined us, supported the event, and helped make it such a fun and meaningful day. Events like this remind us that community matters—and that we are stronger when we come together.
Thank you for being part of the Break the Silence family. We look forward to seeing you at our next event!
Community BBQ June 6th, 2026
Our recent Break the Silence Community BBQ was a beautiful success, bringing together individuals and families in a welcoming space where people felt seen, heard, and supported.
Guests shared stories, connected with others who understood their journey, and found comfort in a community that embraced both healing and hope.
Throughout the day, new friendships were formed, laughter filled the air, children enjoyed fun activities, and everyone gathered around great food. It was a meaningful reminder that no one has to walk through grief alone and that connection can be a powerful part of the healing process.

Break the Silence Fundraiser 2025
Our Break the Silence Fundraiser was an incredible success, bringing together nearly 100 community members in support of hope, healing, and connection.
Through the generosity of our attendees, sponsors, donors, and volunteers, we raised more than $15,000 to support our mission. The funds raised will help us continue offering free community events, provide scholarships for graduating seniors, and support free counseling services for survivors.
The event was a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to make a difference and ensure that no one has to walk their journey alone.
