Join us for Break the Silence, a heartfelt community event dedicated to honoring and supporting survivors of suicide loss. Happening on Saturday, December 6th, 2025, at The Veteran's Memorial Building in Tulare, CA, this powerful day is filled with connection, remembrance, and healing.

We’ll start the morning with a warm welcome and a delicious full hearty breakfast, giving everyone a chance to gather, connect, and fuel up for the day. You'll hear an inspiring talk from celebrity Life Coach Rhonda Britten, followed by time to explore mental health resource booths, participate in the Tricky Tray, and enjoy our first-ever Car Show featuring cars, motorcycles, and bicycles!

During the event, we'll have our memorial walk, which is open to the community regardless of purchase of a ticket to the event, and participants are encouraged to dress up in a fun superhero vs. villain theme—celebrating strength, remembrance, and community in action. There will be a prize for the best costume!
Ticket Options:

-
Car Show + Breakfast: Participate in the show and enjoy breakfast and full event access.

About Break the Silence

At Break the Silence, we're transforming how our community approaches mental health and supports those affected by suicide loss. What began in 2018 as a heartfelt effort—a "one-woman show" online silent auction—to honor a personal legacy and defy the silence around mental health has now blossomed into a powerful, community-driven movement.
In 2025, we are proud to become a registered nonprofit organization. Our focus has expanded significantly: we are now dedicated to actively supporting survivors of suicide loss and building a robust, year-round community of healing, acceptance, and understanding. We believe that by creating spaces for open conversation and providing tangible resources, we can change the lasting impact that suicide has on individuals, families, and our entire community.

This is more than just an annual fundraiser; it's a year-round commitment to providing vital support. We're developing a scholarship program, creating youth activities, and fostering continuous community engagement to be a constant source of support for those who need it most.
